Cleaning – although an essential process for any food manufacturer, it means vessels, lines and depositors are not producing product. Worse, it uses huge amounts of water, energy and chemical, most of which goes down the drain costing even more money.

The basic building blocks of any hygienic system – the tube & fittings – are only the start. Our tube is certified to European (EN10357). Tube that does not meet this standard can take up to 10% more cleaning time and water due to the small imperfections on the internal surface, as well as being more prone to pitting & stress corrosion that significantly reduce the life span of the material.

Our Versaline butterfly valves are made using only high grade forged material to remove the risk of contamination from blow holes and porosity that are a common fault with cast bodied valves, making them easier and quicker to clean thoroughly. The seals are Food safe and FDA approved.

HpE Process have a range of product recovery systems – these are tailored to your specific process and enable you to recover that valuable product from a process line before cleaning or product change-over. Giving you more line up-time, more product to pack and less waste to dispose of. Product recovery systems commonly improve subsequent cleaning times and reduce water and cleaning chemical usage.

The HpE Evoguard range of hygienic and aseptic mix proof valves have been designed for the 21st century. They feature innovations that eliminate product leakage on change-over, reduce air consumption by over 25% and reduce cleaning times. They have fast acting actuators to reduce time-lag and product losses across manifolds. A seal change service can be accomplished without special tools in less than half the time of any competitive valve – so you can get the seal change done and line running so much faster – you also save on maintenance costs.

Our pumps also carry EHEDG approval and use hygienic design criteria to ensure that they are more easily cleaned than any others. Our twin screw pump is so versatile that it can pump viscous and sensitive products without damage, but can then be speeded up to handle water & CIP at flowrates that no other positive pump can achieve, removing the necessity for additional CIP feed & scavenge pumps as well as the complex by-pass arrangements that lobe, wing rotor & sine pumps need.

In our quest to help customers to reduce waste & cleaning times, we have developed a range of tank equipment that can do both. Manways designed to follow the curvature of the vessel wall eliminate the shadow from the cleaning head, rotating & indexing cleaning heads that work at lower flowrates but with increased cleaning efficiency, our Versaline sight glass that improves the field of vison and is easier to clean and our latest addition, the EHEDG approved tank/machine foot.
